Antonio “Tony” Flores serves as AMP Technologies’ Business Development Advisor. Tony Flores is a seasoned business consultant who advises companies and industries on multi-ethnic marketing strategies, with a strong focus on helping organizations achieve their business goals and expand across the United States and Latin American markets.
Flores was born in Puerto Rico and raised and educated in New York City. His professional experience spans both the private and public sectors. He served in the U.S. Army and later held key management positions with RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and The Coca-Cola Company.
In Atlanta, Tony served as President of Vargas Flores & Amigos, Georgia’s first Hispanic advertising agency. The firm earned numerous awards for advertising excellence during the 1990s in both Atlanta and Los Angeles. During this time, he advised major organizations including Coca-Cola, Aflac, Wilkinson Sword, MasterCard, Georgia Power, Conagra, Worldwide Sports, the Roberto Clemente Friendship Games, and the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.
Tony also brings extensive experience in community engagement and nonprofit collaboration, contributing his expertise to organizations such as the American Red Cross, SCORE, the New York Archdiocese Hispanic Apostolate, the Georgia Department of Health and Social Services, and the Morehouse School of Medicine.
In public service initiatives, Tony played an instrumental role in public affairs and outreach campaigns for the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Navy and Marine Corps recruitment programs, the Georgia Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Hospital Association of Puerto Rico.
